Whoops! Thanks for catching that! I updated frangipane to include the definition. To some, it's almond cream plus pastry cream, and to others, it's just almond cream. Depends on who you talk to, but I think professional pastry chefs refer to the mixture of almond cream plus pastry cream as real frangipane.
