BRILLIANT!!! Another in the "why didn't I think of that" category. And I'm sure your crust is delicious. I think when we're actually going to the trouble of making pie dough, first ingredient is forgiveness in case anything goes wrong ... just remember my two favourite words for any imperfections: "rustic" and "charming."
